Step 1: Consultation
Before receiving treatment at Dr Refresh, we ask that our patients come in for a consultation to meet with Dr Ritu Gupta or her associate dermatologists, who are specialist medical and cosmetic dermatologists, or one of her nurses and therapists. This is a time for you to share your concerns and ask any questions about cosmetic dermatology. From there, we’ll begin your skin analysis to develop an individualised treatment plan.
Step 2: Skin Analysis
To complete your skin analysis, you’ll simply step up to the device and let it do its work. We will give you exact instructions on how to position yourself. Once the device has finished its scan, one of our specialists will examine its images. Based on our findings, we will select a solution for your skin!
Step 3: Treatment
After your skin analysis, you will return for subsequent treatments in Ultimo. Depending on the type of treatment you receive, you may need several appointments. You will start to see your desired results thanks to our expert care at Dr Refresh!

Will I feel anything during the scan?
No, our scans are completely painless. Because our devices are imaging technology of your external appearance, they are completely noninvasive with little to no sensation involved.
How often should I get a skin analysis?
Your skin is constantly changing, even when you may follow the same routine every day. We recommend that patients return for a yearly skin analysis in Ultimo as needed to identify changes in their skin. This is particularly important for our older patients since a skin analysis can aid in the early detection of skin cancer. Other patients also get skin analysis after their treatment to see how their skin has changed.
Will I be able to see what I look like if I receive injectables or other treatments?
Yes! One of the benefits of using our advanced technology is that we can simulate how your face would change with different treatments. For example, we can show how the wrinkles around your mouth might change with a wrinkle treatment, or how your cheekbones would look after filler or biostimulatory injectables.
