Step 1: Consultation
Before receiving treatment at Dr Refresh, we ask that our patients come in for a consultation to meet with Dr Ritu Gupta or her associate dermatologists, who are specialist medical and cosmetic dermatologists, or one of her nurses and therapists. At this consultation, we want to hear from you and learn more about your concerns. We take this time to develop a treatment plan and determine if Emsculpt NEO is the right body sculpting treatment for you.
Step 2: Emsculpt Neo
At your Emsculpt NEO appointment, our specialist will gently place the paddles on the desired treatment areas. The device will emit electromagnetic and radiofrequency energy into your body, and you’ll feel muscle contractions along with mild heat. A full treatment takes about 20 minutes.
Step 3: Follow-Up
For the best results, Emsculpt NEO takes four to six treatments, spaced about five to 10 days apart. There is no downtime after Emsculpt NEO, so you can immediately return to your normal activities!

When will I see results from Emsculpt NEO?
Most patients notice a difference after the first treatment. With subsequent sessions, your muscles will continue to develop while your fat cells break down in your body. This process takes several weeks, so it will likely be 2 to 3 months before you see the best results.
Who is a good candidate for body sculpting in Ultimo?
Patients who are near or at their ideal weight are best for body sculpting treatments, as these are not weight loss procedures. In addition, patients who have metal implants in the area to be treated may not receive Emsculpt NEO.
How long will the results from Emsculpt NEO last?
The dissolved fat from Emsculpt NEO is permanent, as long as you maintain your current weight and lifestyle. However, since your muscles require consistent strengthening, most patients return for maintenance sessions to keep up their toned results.
